Kwaw Blay is the Founder and Managing Partner of Spartan Ives, where he oversees the firm’s investment strategy across hospitality, real estate, and infrastructure. He brings over a decade of experience in private equity, structured development, and legal advisory, with a focus on originating and executing complex transactions across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to founding Spartan Ives, Mr. Blay was an Investment Associate at TLG Capital in London, where he led capital deployment into high-growth opportunities across the region. His work included a $10 million structured transaction with BBH Ghana and the acquisition of Vero Ltd in Uganda. He previously managed residential development projects under Oasis Capital’s Whitewall Properties, delivering capital raises, project execution, and successful exits.

Mr. Blay holds an MBA from London Metropolitan University and an LLB in Commercial Law from the University of Hull. He also holds credentials in negotiation and dispute resolution from BPP Law School and ADR International.
